Here at Black Does Crack, mental health advocacy is our main priority, Unresolved trauma is dangerous and the stigma we carry amongst our families and friends is costing us our lives. .
Mental health stigmas have long plagued the African American community and if we are to thrive, we must confronted them head on. For hundreds of years families have passed down their unresolved mental and emotional trauma from generation to generation. That long held tradition ends right here and right now. Our video series will dissect the longstanding mental health stigma amongst African Americans and use storytelling to promote strength, hope and healing.
